What this website collects, why, and how to have it removed.
This website does not follow you around the web. It counts its visits anonymously and without cookies, and embeds no other third-party scripts. It sets one cookie, and only when you fill in the catalogue form, so that the catalogue downloads on that device. It keeps one note in your browser for the length of a visit, so the home page’s opening fade plays only once. The only personal information MM Techno Plast LLP receives through this site is what you choose to type into the enquiry form or the catalogue form and send.
What we collect
The enquiry form asks for your message, your name, company, email address and a phone or WhatsApp number, all required, and your country, which is optional. It also notes the type of enquiry you chose and, when you followed a link from a product or an article, which one, so that we can answer the right question.
The catalogue form asks for your name, company, email address and a phone or WhatsApp number, all required, and your country, which is optional. It notes the page you came from when a link named one. To check that the email address can receive mail, the site looks up the part after the @ in the internet’s public address directory (DNS); it sends nothing to the address itself.
Our web host records standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, the page requested and your browser’s user-agent string), as every web server does. These are used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, not to build a profile of you.
To see which pages are read, the site counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, a service of our web host. It sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser. For each page you open it records the page address, the site that sent you there, an approximate location (country, region and city), and your type of device, operating system and browser. You are told apart from other visitors only by a code worked out from your browser’s request, which the host discards after 24 hours. We see totals, never an individual visit or your IP address.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and keep a record of what was asked and what we answered. When you download the catalogue, to know who has it and to follow up on your interest in our products by email, phone or WhatsApp. We do not add you to a mailing list or send newsletters, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry and your catalogue request are delivered to our own inbox by a third-party email delivery service, which processes them only to transmit them to us. Our website host processes the server logs and the visit counts described above; if a delivery ever fails, the details you sent are written to that log too, so that they are not lost. Neither may use your information for its own purposes, and we do not transfer it outside these two processors.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails and catalogue requests for three months, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner using the contact below, and we will do so. Details in our host’s server log are kept only as long as the host keeps its logs, which is shorter than that. The visit counts are totals that hold nothing that identifies you.
The one cookie
When you complete the catalogue form, the site sets a cookie named mm_catalogue. It holds an expiry date and a signature, nothing about you. It is sent back only to the catalogue PDF’s address: when you open the PDF, and when you come back to the catalogue page, which checks it so you are not asked to fill the form in again. It expires after 30 days. Without it the PDF link opens the form instead.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop following up on a catalogue request. Write to sales@mmtechnoplast.com with enough detail to identify the enquiry and we will action it.
If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you these rights, the right to nominate someone to exercise them on your behalf, and, once you have raised it with us, the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India. If you are in the UK or the European Union (MM exports, so this may apply to you), the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR additionally give you the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your national supervisory authority.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
