The Alinco DJ-VX46 is a UHF FM handheld transceiver on the 16 PMR446 channels (446.00625–446.19375 MHz) at about 0.5 W, with 128 memory channels in eight groups of 16. It has an IP67 polycarbonate body, a 7.4 V 1800 mAh Li-ion battery and weighs 238 g with battery and antenna; VOX, CTCSS/DCS tone signalling and voice scrambling are built in. It works on the PMR446 UHF channels, not the marine VHF band, so it cannot call on marine channel 16.
