Pulleys
MM lists a nylon or polypropylene pulley, with bearing or bushing, and a well pulley with a plastic wheel. A bearing runs more freely under load; a bushing is the simpler, cheaper wheel. State which when ordering.
Net mending needles
Net mending needles carry the twine for repairing a torn panel at sea or on the quay. MM lists them in 5″, 6″, 7″ and 10″.
Hand caster
The hand caster is a hand-line fishing reel: a rimmed spool held in the palm, with the line thrown and retrieved by hand. MM lists it under Commercial Fishing, in two series and seven sizes.
Scorpio flashing light
The Scorpio flashing light marks a net end or a buoy at night so it can be found again and avoided by other craft. MM lists it in single-colour and double-colour versions.
